Godbey School of Art offers high-quality art education classes, workshops and summer camps. Students are able to explore creative art materials, learn and demonstrate art techniques and design original artwork. Our painting classes for Children and Adults include special workshops designed for grandparents, parents and kids; Easel Bar Paint with wine and appetizers; Wellness Therapy through Painting; and many different painting events for special occasions.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a hobby where you didn’t have to buy a ton of supplies and where you could go and relax and just paint all your cares away? Adult students of all ages and abilities are invited to explore our fine art classes and workshops in an educational and supportive environment. All painting materials and instructions included. Students learn how to paint. Students work at their own pace and choose their own subject matter to paint. Individualized instruction is provided by professional artist Stephanie Godbey.

This fun painting workshop is a real bonding experience for Grandparents, Parents and Children. It is a 2-hour workshop. This is a collaborative project. Grandparents, Parents and children paint on each other’s canvas.
Children and adults work together to explore the materials, techniques, and age-appropriate concepts of visual arts through painting. Parent & Child Painting classes are designed for you and your child to have creative fun together. Spend a couple hours with your child and get artsy together! We’ve made it easy and convenient for you by providing all of the supplies as well as professional instruction!

No matter skill or lack-there-of, you’ll produce a painting worth framing. Our goal is for you to hang it proudly in your home and say, “I did that!” when you have company. There’s no experience necessary and we’ll provide all the supplies, so you don’t have to worry about a thing (except having a great time!). Must be of legal drinking age. BYOB and appetizer. We begin promptly at the start time listed. Please allow extra time to find parking and get settled. If you’re coming with a group, make sure you arrive early to get seats together.
